Just a small minute is needed to slide the sun blocker tendon in the awning tendon slot.

When sun shines under the awning reaching the seating area, now the sun blocker filters the sunrays  and sun UV rays by up to 70%. Until late evening you can enjoy the outside without being sunburned or sunblinded from the sun shining below the awning.

However it only takes a few seconds to remove the sun blocker from the awnings tendon slot, the sunblocker cloth also can act as window  sun block. When away from home or by high wind, when extending the awning is not desired, the sunblocker fiters the sunrays through to the room what can result in up to 5 degrees C lower room temperature.
